CAMILLE WINBUSH ("The Bernie Mac Show")

What's the atmosphere like working on “The Bernie Mac Show?” Is it as crazy behind the scenes as it is onscreen?
It is, and it's so fun, but when it's time to work, we work.

Is there a lot of improv or do you stick to the script?
There is a lot of both. We have really good writers so we'll stick to that sometimes. If we think of something that we think is funny, then Bernie tells us to go ahead and try it.

Are there ever times when you're filming a scene and he's making you laugh so hard you can't do it?
Yes, that happens a lot.

Does that usually happen with jokes Bernie Mac tells or physical comedy? What makes you laugh?
It's mostly physical and then stuff that he says that we wouldn't expect him to say at that time. But they keep rolling just for fun and then they'll cut and we'll have to do it again.

Is it like a family atmosphere when you are filming?
Yes, it is. We are all really close. Dee Dee [Davis] is like my little sister, Jeremy [Suarez] and I get along really good, and Bernie is like another uncle for me. We always hang out and spend time with each other outside, off the set.

IRINA VORONINA

A lot of models move from modeling to acting. Is that your goal?
I'd like to get a big part in a big movie.

Do you like action movies or are you more into dramas? What interests you?
I think I'm going to start with the action movies and then I'm going to go into comedy and dramas because action is the best way to get your name out there and to be considered for more serious parts.

What are you doing to help prepare yourself for your jump to film roles?
I'm taking classes, I have a dialect coach, I'm taking Tai Kwan Do lessons - I'm doing all the right things.

What has surprised you the most about coming to America and being a model?
People are very nice here and everybody is very kind to me. They've helped me a lot. I love this country and maybe that's why I've been so successful here. This is completely different from what we were taught in Europe about Americans.

I felt like I was born and raised here. When I got to LA, I decided that I would never leave.
