RACHEL BOSTON AND SARAH RAMOS ("American Dreams")
American Dreams takes place years before either of you were born. What did you do to help prepare yourself for this series?
RACHEL BOSTON: I really enjoy it. I went home right before the pilot, and the executive producer Jonathan Prince sent us a packet. It was a 150 page Welcome to 1963 packet. I read that whole [thing] and I watched movies from the 60s. Now the only thing in my car is 60s music.
Was there any particular actress you could relate to or that you drew on for this role?
Your character is a very strong young woman in the 60s. Is she someone that a lot of people from that decade can relate to?
What's it like working with your onscreen love interest, Will Estes?
Most of this series is dramatic, there's not a lot of comedy or action. What's the atmosphere on the set, behind-the-scenes?
Gail O'Grady and Tom Verica are the seasoned pros and I guess we're the younger crowd. We are definitely learning. I'm learning so much from them.
Is there any musical co-star coming up that you're real excited to see on the show?
You actually said that to him?
Anyone else coming up that you're exciting about?
