"Amelie," "Life as a House," and "The Man Who Wasn't There"

Synopsis - "Amelie"
"Amelie" is a fanciful romantic comedy about a young woman who discreetly orchestrates the lives of the people around her, creating a world exclusively of her own making.

Audtrey Tautou stars as Amelie, a young waitress in a tiny Paris cafe. Her life changes course when she discovers an old box of childhood treasures hidden beneath her apartment floorboards, anonymously returns it to its rightful owner, and watches from a distance as his life is transformed by the discovery. Amelie begins to transform the lives of other ordinary people, becoming part matchmaker, part purveyor of hope and part patron saint of getting even. She works behind a veil of mystery and anonymity - which works to her benefit - until she meets an intriguing young man, Nino (Mathieu Kassovitz). Now the question is: will she have the courage to do for herself what she has done for others?
