BILLY BOB THORNTON (Terry)
You get to wear a lot of wigs in this film. Which was your favorite?
The "Neil Young" one, with the big sideburns - the big old choppers.
How was the atmosphere on the set?
It was very loose and easy. It was great. Barry Levinson is a terrific director; he sets a perfect tone for the set.
Do you think moviegoers will like your character in "Bandits?"
I think people like to see regular people get away with something, especially when it's harmless - if no one gets hurt. And these are not guys who hurt anybody, they're just goofballs. Like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis - or any of those type of characters.
Was the "beavers and ducks" comment in the movie yours, or was that scripted?
Thank you very much for noticing! That was mine - that was mine. And that was for her (hugging Angelina Jolie).
What other projects are you working on?
I've got so many movies coming out, plus a record. I'm going to take off for a few months. I'm not going to do anything for awhile. I'm going to tour with my record, til probably right after the first of the year.
