Here's what the two had to say about Brittany Murphy and the romantic comedy, "Little Black Book:"
RON LIVINGSTON
Were you able to visit Brittany Murphy on the "Uptown Girls" set to get to know her?
I never did. This thing was completely done by the time I got that job. This is my first time seeing this.
How would you describe Brittany?
She's very, very, very spunky, you know what I mean? She bounces off the walls; she's all over the place. She's got the energy of 10 women. She needs to be a movie star, I think.
What's "Little Black Book" about?
My character's name is Derrick. It's kind of a relationship comedy about fishing and digging around for secrets - be careful what you look for.
What other projects do you have lined up?
I've got a movie coming out in November called "The Cooler." It's with Bill Macy, Alec Baldwin, and Maria Bello. It's fantastic. It's a Vegas movie, a casino movie. After that, I don't know. I'm an actor so it's kind of like I don't know what's going to happen next month, let alone next year.

How would you describe your "Little Black Book" co-star, Brittany Murphy?
She's so vibrant. We auditioned together a couple of times and we've had rehearsals. She's adorable. We start shooting on Monday.
In "Uptown Girls," Murphy's character is very immature. Is she immature?
I don't think she's immature. I guess we all have that side. I think she's very grown up. I think she's been in this business for a long time and I think she really knows what she's doing. She brings that to the table.
