"Legally Blonde" is what summer movies are all about. This film is the perfect blend of fun and fluff, provided by an outstanding group of actors. Reese is remarkable as the blonde with brains, a part that seems tailor-made for her. Matthew Davis is snotty, imperious and excellent as the love interest with three I's behind his name depicting an impeccable lineage. Elle's best friends from her California college days, Jennifer Caulfiel and Alanna Ubach, are wonderful as her comrades in the battle to snag a suitable husband. Though I wish his part had been bigger, Luke Wilson is his usual charming self as the guy who stands up for Elle when others aren't able to get past the stereotype.
If you're interested in good, clean, fun, "Legally Blonde" is an entertaining way to spend a few hours. You don't even have to be a blonde, natural or otherwise, to enjoy this film. Previous Articles |
