MARK FAMIGLIETTI ('Scott Petersen')

Can you describe your character in “Terminator 3?”
Sure, I play Scott Petersen and [he's] Claire Danes' fiancée. He kind of gets killed but he comes back in a cool way throughout the movie.

Wait, he 'kind of' gets killed?
(Laughing) He kind of gets killed.

So does he get killed or not get killed?
He does get killed but there's something cool about it that I can't quite say.

Do you do any stunt work?
I do a little stunt work, although I didn't do it.

Did you have to do any special training?
No special training [but there's] a lot of special digital CGI-type stuff.

What's it like coming on to the third film of such a popular franchise?
It's a blessing really. There are very few films that have been franchise history - “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones” come to mind. But this and “Matrix” are probably the true sci-fi trilogies out there.

Do you have any scenes with Arnold?
I don't but when you see the movie, there's a very good reason why.

What was it like working with Claire Danes?
Oh she's awesome. She's a complete pro. She's very smart. She's a very giving actor meaning that when she's off camera and I'm on camera, she's giving just as much for the scene.

What's your next project?
I just sold my screenplay so I've been being paid to rewrite that. I'm being kind of picky about what I do next because a lot of bad science fiction's been crossing my desk.

CHRIS HARDWICK

How did you feel coming into the third film of such a well-known series?
It's beyond anything I could ever imagine. I'm only in the movie for a few minutes and I'm so excited my eyes are going to pop out and bleed all over you, that's how excited I am.

What's your character?
I've been referring to myself as 'Scientist with lots of bad news.'

So you don't have to do any stunt work?
Mental stunts.

Who do you deliver your news to?
There's a team of military people. There's a lot of “This is bad…” and “What are we going to do about this?…” It's just such a great thing to be involved in, even on a smaller scale than like Arnold or Claire Danes or Nick Stahl or anyone. It's just amazing to even be here associated [with the movie].

Were you a fan of the first two “Terminator” movies?
Of course I was, especially the first movie was just like life-changing when I was a kid. Who doesn't love robots, for God's sake? This whole thing has just been incredible.

What do you think fans can expect from the third one that's different from the first two?
You know I haven't even seen the movie nor was I allowed to read the script. No one was allowed to read the script. I've heard that Jon Mostow was able to inject some actual humor into the film, so I'm really looking forward to that. He was such a great guy to work with.

What's next for you?
I'm doing a comedy album with Rob Zombie. He's producing a comedy movie for me. We did a movie called “House of 1,000 Corpses,” which is coming out on DVD in August. That'll be out August 12th.

What's it like working with Rob Zombie?
Rob's amazing. We've been friends for years and he's just so crazy smart. He was amazing to work with. I can't wait to work with him on this album, too.

What's happening with the "House of 1,000 Corpses" sequel?
They are going to do the sequel. Lions Gate gave them a deal to do the sequel so I think they might start shooting that this fall.
