There's glee in Josh Lucas' eyes as he portrays Glenn Talbot on the screen. Is it just that character's wicked personality shining through or is it the personal joy Lucas found in playing the bad guy after recent turns in romantic comedies and serious dramas? It's tough to tell. According to Lucas, "He is so crazily free, so maniacal, unafraid and dominating that there is this great comic book element to him. It was almost playful to portray him and absolutely fun."

JOSH LUCAS ('Talbot')

You get to play Talbot, who is kind of a bad guy…
He's definitely a bad guy.

Did you have to stretch for that?
(Laughing) I've got nothing in relationship to him and that's kind of the job of playing him, coming up with this completely unique character that I can't tap in my own self. It's about finding things around myself to play, and pretending to be the bad guy.

What did you pull from to get angry in “The Hulk?” What makes you angry?
I think it's the opposite of this character. I think this character is totally based in ambition and rage and sort of personal jealousy. For me it's rather the opposite. It's whenever I feel there's injustice or when someone is wrongly accused, it makes me crazy.

How difficult was the wirework for you?
It was incredible fun actually. I mean from what Ang learned from “Crouching Tiger,” it's like ballet. Ballet in the air.

How many hours were you hooked up?
I was there for weeks, honestly.

And your fight with Eric Bana?
It's all sort of the fun of this movie in a sense. It's coming to work and orienting yourself towards that 'ballet.' I loved it.

Mike Erwin ("Everwood") helps fill in part of Bruce Banner's backstory with his portrayal of Banner as a teenager.

MIKE ERWIN ('Teenage Bruce Banner')

As far as the sequel goes, any thoughts on that?
I probably wouldn't be a part of it. I'm mostly his teenage years. We'll let Eric [Bana] take the rest of it.

Do you enjoy coming to these big premieres?
I guess it's part of what my job is, what I'm supposed to do (laughing).

What's next for you?
We've still got the cliffhanger for “Everwood.” I've got some stuff lined up but I haven't committed to anything yet. We're just kind of playing the cards and I'm taking some time off and just enjoying nothing.
