JAMES REMAR ('Agent Markham')

Is it fun to be the one guy who hates the hero?
Oh, I don't hate him. I'm just trying to keep him in line. It's kind of a 'tough cop' act. As long as he does a good job, he's okay in my book.

So in a good cop/bad cop situation, you'd play bad cop?
In this particular instance, yes.

Did you get a chance to drive one of the fast cars?
No, I don't drive the import models. I do a little bit of driving in one of the muscle police cars. It's got a bad paint job, but it was fast.

Do you normally drive fast?
Ordinarily I try to keep within the limits of the law, although I have received a speeding ticket.

What will fans get out of this sequel?
Hopefully, it'll be a nice slick ride for them and they'll get to see some really beautifully engineered automobiles, and some good acting. [There's] good music, too.

You've also been busy filming “Duplex.” What's your role in that movie?
I play a hit man who they hire to take care of somebody, who has a front as a porno producer. It's a pretty funny movie.

And the story revolves around Ben Stiller and Drew Barrymore's characters taking over someone's apartment?
They buy an apartment and there's a little old lady upstairs who turns out to be a thorn in their side, shall we say.

What was it like working with Ben Stiller?
Ben's awesome, Drew's awesome. I've worked with her before. They are both really, really wonderful, professional, authentic people.

Was there a lot of improv on the set?
There can be. Actually, quite a bit.

Were you able to improv any of your scenes with Ben Stiller?
Yes I was. Particularly a scene in an automobile where they are trying to hire me to do something.

EDWARD FINLAY ('Agent Dunn')

Were you disappointed you didn't get to do much driving in this movie?
Yes, but actually at the end I realized, "You know what? I'm in one piece." I didn't get to crash the cars. These guys have done it for so many years, but I definitely wanted to drive a lot more than that.

Would you describe yourself as the guy who makes the hero look good by looking bad yourself?
Oh, definitely, and what is that like? Humiliating. I played the rookie cop. I was the one that was picked on the whole time, so definitely it just didn't work for me that well but I had a good time.

How many Slushies did you have to drink?
About four. And those were big ones.

What's next for you?
I've got coming up actually after this "Bad Boys II," July 14th. I play a nice little supporting role in that movie and it's going to be pretty interesting to watch. A lotta girls around me so it was fun. It was a fun shoot.

And it's another Miami movie?
Heck yeah. It was great. I mean, it's my home town. I couldn't be more lucky to be there with my family and then my friends, and just be doing what you love.

Did you get into acting because films came to Miami?
No, actually, it's a dream and it's a goal I've always wanted since I was 15, 14 years old. I've been doing this for a long time and finally it's starting to surface. It's something I've always wanted. I've always had a great imagination. It all started with "Star Wars."

Who do you play in "Bad Boys II?"
"Bad Boys II," I played this guy named Brian. He's a skinny kid. He's actually a first time Ecstasy user who walks into a club and overdoses on Ecstasy and has a seizure and so forth. His death links to the investigation with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith to the main villain of that movie.

So you don't get to work with Will and Martin?
In that scene, no, but I got to work with Peter Stormare who is actually a great actor and wonderful person. I mean, who I got to work with was Michael Bay. He's just amazing.

Does he really yell all the time?
No. Not at me. We got along great and he was wonderful to work with. He had great ideas and we worked well together all the time.
