The cast and crew of Warner Bros. Pictures' "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" gathered in Westwood for the film's star-studded Los Angeles Premiere. Here's a few quotes direct from the red carpet event.

ASHLEY JUDD (Younger Vivi)

Keeping in mind all the big, lethal action blockbusters currently released, which do you think is more lethal, a Southern Belle or a Clone?
I haven't seen George's wonderful movie yet but I definitely think that a Southern Belle is more lethal - of course that's going to be my answer. Discretion, wit, charm and Bloody Marys.

When are you at your most divine?
When I am… You know what, I can't. I was going to say something that was so great but I have to ask my husband first so there's kind of your answer.

ELLEN BURSTYN (Vivi)

The book and the movie are both about relationships. Do you think that there is a sisterhood in Hollywood?
I think that there is somewhat of a network for women. There are some organizations for women in film that particularly support women working in the film industry. I have many, many friends in Hollywood - women friends - that are good support. I came with a group of friends here tonight - my own Ya-Yas.

What defines a Ya-Ya for you?
Women friends, somebody that you talk to. That's what Ya-Ya means, it means talking, somebody you really talk to.

Ashley Judd plays a younger version of your character in this film. Who would you like to see play you if they made a movie version of your life?
Oh my God, I don't know. I'm writing my memoirs right now and I keep getting asked that question about who would play me. It's such a scary idea that I have no idea what the answer is.

What do you think the story/film is really about?
It's really how important it is to really communicate with someone you love, and to honor them.
