CHAD LOWE

Did you expect “Unfaithful” to do so well versus all the big blockbusters it's up against?
I did actually. I did because it was so well written. Adrian Lyne is such an incredible director. I loved “Lolita” which was one of his more recent films that didn't get as much attention. He's always been a great director. Diane Lane has always been a great actress. Richard Gere has always been a great actor. The combination of the three of them, with a beautiful script, in a day and age when many of the movies are made for young people and teenagers, I felt like there really would be an audience for this film.

I really did think it would do well because I know there are a lot of adults who feel like movies aren't made for them anymore. This is a movie that I think is really made for a mature adult audience, and made well.

ANTONIO SABATO JR.

What project are you working on?
Right now I just finished a movie that I did for an Australian network - they changed the name. It's with Kimberley Davies and we shot it in Australia. I believe it's “Seconds to Spare” right now. It's essentially about a terrorist taking over a train and that's why we haven't really talked about it in the past because, obviously, the situation. But there's definitely a good ending, a positive ending where you have a character that has to deal with helping the world and maybe there's a solution for certain things. We all hope that what happened last year doesn't happen again but I shot this film that I enjoyed and I loved working in Australian. At the same time, I opened my production company. We have three projects in the works. One is called “Changes,” which is a love story.

What's “Changes” about?
It's about a character coming from Italy who ends up in Australia because he's running away from his past - I'm not going to say what the past is. He ends up in Melbourne and lives there for a little while, and not speaking a word of English or anything, he ends up falling in love with a young girl. Their story actually goes way, way back where they actually knew each other from their parents but they didn't know that and you find out at the end. It's a story that we wrote - me and my friends that are here with me. We want to do it in Australia. We want to shoot it there. I always wanted to do a love story that shows Melbourne in a different way.

You can't have too many love stories.
No, you can't, and this is a good one. I really care about the project so hopefully this will be my next project.

You mentioned you like Al Pacino films. What was the first Al Pacino movie you saw that got you hooked on him as an actor?
"Serpico." When I saw Serpico, I loved that movie, and I loved him in it. And obviously "The Godfather."
