In "The In-Laws," Albert Brooks plays Jerry Peyser, mild-mannered podiatrist and father of the bride-to-be. Michael Douglas co-stars as daredevil CIA operative, Steve Tobias, the father of the soon-to-be groom. As the wedding day approaches, the two vastly different worlds collide with comedic results.

Lindsay Sloane ("Bring It On") plays Albert Brooks' daughter, Melissa. While at the May 19, 2003 Premiere of "The In-Laws," Sloane provided a glimpse into life on the movie's set:

LINDSAY SLOANE ('Melissa Peyser')

Can you describe the father/daughter relationship you have with Albert Brooks' character in this movie?
I feel like Albert is the overprotective kind of wonderfully loving, neurotic father who just wants everything to be perfect for his baby on her wedding day. But unfortunately, [he] has completely lost track of what she wants and what her desires are for her day. But it comes from such a good place that it's very sweet.

What was working with Albert Brooks like?
He's Albert Brooks, you know. I think everything you think Albert Brooks would be and more. He's so talented and watching his process was unbelievable. He's just super-funny all the time.

Will this go down in film history as a great movie wedding?
Yes, definitely. We all certainly hope so. We had such a good time making it, we hope that people have a great time watching it. That's all we can ask for.

Did any crazy things happen on the set?
I just feel like it was kind of like a constantly crazy vibe on the set because when you're filming a comedy, everyone is very giddy. Michael [Douglas] and Albert were great together, so it was like everyone was just constantly being silly.

We were treated to a real wedding at tonight's premiere. Would you want to get married at a premiere?
No, never. I mean, I'm so happy for those people, but no.
