Based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, "Dreamcatcher" is the story of four lifelong friends who, as children, befriend Duddits, a boy with mental retardation. Duddits becomes their special friend and in turn, his friendship affects their lives in strange and fascinating ways. Doesn't sound too 'Stephen King-ish' at this point, does it? Well their story takes a bizarre Stephen King turn as the four buddies take their yearly vacation together and discover something very strange and deadly has invaded their annual get-together.
At the U.S. Premiere of "Dreamcatcher," Jason Lee, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, and Donnie Wahlberg joined director Lawrence Kasdan and author Stephen King to discuss "Dreamcatcher" and the appeal of horror movies.
