HARLAND WILLIAMS (Doofer/Roberta)

Can you tell us a bit about your character in “Sorority Boys?”
My character is a lovable, huggable redhead like the girl on the “Wendy's” sign, except I don't deal with square hamburgers, I deal with ovals, you know what I mean? I'm just a little Pooh-Bear, a little Curious George.

Was it fun playing dual roles?
Yes, it was great. It was like doing two movies at once because half of it I'm this stud that I am here, and then half of it I was this ugly girl. It was awesome, man.

Was it difficult dressing up in drag?
Yeah, it was hard getting the bra and the panties on. I kept forgetting what goes where and one day I wore the bra down by my waistline and something felt weird. It can get confusing.

Were you allowed to ad-lib a lot on this film?
Yeah, we ad-libbed a lot. Do you want to hear some ad-libbing?

Sure.
Blufhsadhljboufduf - I just ad-libbed right there. You figure it out, that was off the top of my head, right there.

How was the waxing session?
The waxing hurt! I wouldn't ever want to be waxed again. I was so smooth that I felt like a dolphin. I ran down to the ocean and started bobbing for shrimp.

Who was the biggest wimp?
That would be Barry. Barry just cried like a little baby seal every time - little baby.

How was the chemistry between you three guys/girls?
I love those guys. Barry and Michael and myself - we just couldn't have had more fun. It was great casting and I hope we get to do another one.

Did you get to take home any of your wardrobe?
I took a few pantyhose and a couple of brassieres.

What's up next for you?
I'm doing a movie with Rodney Dangerfield called “Back By Midnight.” It's a prison movie so it's just going to get crazier.

Do you dress in drag for that?
No, no, not this time. I'm taking a little break from my thong, if you know what I mean.
