For over 50 years, audiences have waited to learn what follows “happily ever after.” Now the story of one of Disney's most adored classics continues with the all-new, full-length animated movie, "Cinderella II: Dreams Come True." In "Cinderella II: Dreams Come True," Cinderella is now married to Prince Charming and living happily ever after in the Royal Palace. During Cinderella's first days in the palace, Prince Charming departs with the King on royal business, leaving Cinderella with Prudence, the King's strict household advisor. Cinderella sincerely tries to follow Prudence's established rules, but with the help of her mouse friends, Cinderella realizes that she needs to be herself and bring her own style to the palace. Little Jaq the mouse wants to help Cinderella at the gala Spring Festival, but he's too small. When he yearns to be human, the Fairy Godmother grants his wish - - but Jaq finds that being a mouse in human form is harder than he anticipated.

While Jaq learns his hilarious lesson, frumpy Anastasia accidentally bumps into the town baker, and it is love at first sight. Anastasia's mother (Cinderella's wicked Stepmother) will not allow her to see him, but Cinderella, who has noticed the budding romance, steps in to help Anastasia make her own decisions. Love is in the air as the mice try to help nasty cat Lucifer court the pampered palace cat Pom-Pom, so they'll be too preoccupied adoring each other to chase mice. However, the match goes awry, with uproarious results. As true love blooms between Anastasia and the baker, Cinderella proclaims that “dreams do come true.”

Cast members, special celebrity guests and their families celebrated the film's Premiere on February 23, 2002 at the historic El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Here's a few short quotes, direct from the red carpet:

JOHN KAFKA (Director)

Was it difficult working on the sequel to such a well-loved classic?
Absolutely, in fact I was scared to do it and almost didn't. But the people at the studio are so wonderful to work with, and professional, that I'd love to do another project with them. It became much easier to work on this project once I released my inner princess!

Is this every girl's dream come true?
Absolutely. I can't believe I get to play Cinderella, this was a dream come true and a wonderful character to get to bring to life. I'm honored to have been given the opportunity.

And your favorite Disney movie?
"Cinderella," of course. And "101 Dalmatians" - anything with animals.

BROOKE ALLISON (singing voice of Cinderella)

How many songs do you have in this film?
All of the songs are mine. I sing four songs, including an updated version of "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo."

How difficult is the process of singing for an animated film?
It's not that bad. I watch the scene onscreen as I sing so that I can get the timing down.

And you have a new CD coming up soon?
Yes, and I have one out currently.

What's your style of music and do you look up to anyone in particular?
This next CD will be more rock, and I definitely admire Celine Dion.

SPECIAL CELEBRITY GUESTS:

What did you do to put on and take off the 30 lbs for your role as a hobbit?
I ate a lot, and then after the film I ran. Not so much now, but right after we were done shooting.

Are you getting a chance to relax?
No, I'm one of those people who needs to work. I need to be working on a project.

Any plans for the Academy Awards?
Not yet. They've submitted our names and now we just have to wait and see who gets to attend.

What do you think about all the nominations?
It's extraordinary. The academy whose ultimate goal is to celebrate achievement, to recognize the film I think is totally appropriate and totally satisfying and I hope everybody that I know takes home a trophy.

Can you talk about the two big movies you have coming out soon?
I play Will's partner at the beginning of "Men in Black 2" and in "Big Trouble" I'm a cop and I'm partnered with Janeane Garofalo. It's an ensemble piece with a lot of good actors.

Was there much ad-libbing between you and Janeane Garofalo?
Not a whole lot, not really. We had a pretty good script.

What's your favorite Disney movie?
It has to be "Tarzan."

And what's your favorite character on Mad TV?
"Tarzan." No seriously, I love Swan, but this is my last season on Mad TV.

BETH GRANT

Can you describe your character in "The Rookie?"
I play (Dennis Quaid's character's) mom when he's a young boy. It's a true story about a boy who grows up in a military family with a military father who is very strict and kind of not encouraging him to be a baseball player and I'm kind of the mom who is nicer and more supportive. Later in the movie he becomes kind of estranged from his father so I try to help him find his way back to his father.

Did you meet the real Jimmy Morris?
Yes, I did, I got to meet the real Jimmy Morris and he was wonderful. His mother knew me it was the weirdest thing. She said, "I know Beth Grant!" That was really funny. Somehow we had a mutual friend and we had met at some point - really wild.

I think this is - I hate to say this because he is always so good - but I think this is the best thing Dennis Quaid's ever done, and he's in almost every scene. And when he throws that ball, you believe that he is throwing that fastball. His body, the way he looks… My daughter and I went to see it the other night and she said, "Momma, his face when he throws that ball!" She tried doing it, making that face, trying to get her ball to go 98 mph. I don't think that's going to happen (laughing).
