So tell us about “Insomnia.”
“Insomnia” is directed by Christopher Nolan who did “Memento.”

Is it the same type of strange film?
I don't think it's quite as strange. It's suspenseful, but “Memento” was really crazy. That was a different kind of movie.

Al Pacino is the star of it. He plays a cop who is investigating a murder in Alaska and he's from Los Angeles. I play the boyfriend of the girl who was killed and a suspect in the murder.

Who plays your girlfriend?
Well the character's name is Kay Connell but I don't remember the name of the actress because she was already deceased in the movie so I never really had any scenes with her (laughing). Robin Williams is in it, Hilary Swank…it's cool, and it's really a great film. It's a suspense/thriller coming out Memorial Weekend.

Is your character a good guy or bad guy?
He's not very likeable. He's wasn't very nice to the girl and that's why he's a suspect in the murder. They don't know how violent he is. He's not really a good guy.
