Rumors have been speculating a breakup inside the B2K camp for some time now. Disagreements amongst the quartet are the reason behind the B2K breakup. Longtime manager and production partner Chris Stokes of the Ultimate Group stated, "We've had a great run together making hit songs, albums and now movies. The kids are growing up and are interested in pursing their own careers. I have enormous respect for each of them, and I wish them success in their pursuit of their individual careers. B2K was an extremely talented singing group that will surely be missed."
Chris Stokes will continue to manage Omarion under The Ultimate Group (T.U.G) moniker. Stokes would not confirm or deny if the remaining B2K band members will continue with him, but added that he would welcome a continued working relationship with the remaining members of B2K.
B2K recently released their third album "You Got Served" which serves as the soundtrack to the motion picture of the same name set for nationwide release on Screen Gems on January 30th 2004. Aside from making hot new music for the film, B2K singer Omarion showcases his acting talent in this breakout lead role. B2K represented the best, brightest and most talented of their generation. Although B2K has disbanded, their musical combination of R&B and Hip-Hop hits will play on.
