Paris Hilton Makes Her Way to "House of Wax"

According to The Hollywood Reporter, reality TV star Paris Hilton is in talks to join the cast of the 2004 remake of the 1953 horror classic, "House of Wax." The original movie starred Vincent Price as a mad professor (aren't all professors and/or scientists in horror movies 'mad'?) who took pleasure in coating dead bodies in wax and then putting them on public display in his museum.

Already cast in the remake are "24's" Elisha Cuthbert and "Freaky Friday's" Chad Michael Murray. "House of Wax" will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, a successful commercial directorial who'll be making his feature film directorial debut with this project.

Production is set to begin in May, 2004, with the shooting to take place in Australia. Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes' script is different from the original "House of Wax," however the plot will still feature bodies covered in wax, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
