For Captain Jack Sparrow the waters of the Caribbean present a veritable playground. But his life capsizes after his nemesis, Captain Barbossa, steals his ship and attacks Port Royal and kidnaps Elizabeth. Elizabeth’s friend, Will, joins forces with Jack in an attempt to rescue her. Unbeknownst to Will, there is a curse that has doomed Barbossa and his crew to live forever as the undead.
Review:
Based on the popular Disneyland thrill ride, "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush, and is directed by Gore Verbinski. At least we haven't seen a million 'pirate' movies lately, so this might be a refreshing addition to the usual fare.
