In the erotic movie, "The Dreamers," Isabelle (Eva Green) and her brother Theo (Louis Garrel) are left alone in Paris whilst their parents are on holiday. The two invite Matthew (Michael Pitt), a young American student, to stay at their apartment. Here they make their own rules as they experiment with their emotions and sexuality while playing a series of increasingly demanding mind games.

Bernardo Bertolucci's "The Dreamers" marks the first time Fox Searchlight has released an NC-17-rated film, and the first time an MPAA signatory company has done so in more than six years.
