Beautiful and sexy, actress Bai Ling has been very busy working on two huge projects. I caught up with her at the "Cold Creek Manor" Premiere and got a chance to ask her about her upcoming films:

Can you tell me about your role in "Star Wars Episode III?" Have you finished filming?
Yes I did and it was an extremely nice experience. I feel like I’m very fortunate to be in the last "Star Wars." Unfortunately I cannot talk too much about it because I signed a contract. I can tell people I’m in it, but the other things I cannot really talk about. I don’t want to get myself in trouble (laughing).

Are you allowed to say anything about your costumes?
I’m all naked with tattoos on my body. You have to find out why when you see the movie.

Do you do any stunts?
No, my role doesn’t have to. It was just a nice experience. [The set was] massive – 20th Century Fox Studios supported this movie - and eight stages were set up just for “Star Wars.” I’ve never seen such big monitors – 2 of them – with super high quality screens. I was like, “Wow!” And also watching [George Lucas] work... I said, “George, do you prepare for every day of shooting?” There’s so many people there. There were 1,000s of extras. He said, “No. For me it’s like I’ve been doing it so long, for me it’s easy.” I felt like it was an amusement park for him where all of his toys play.

What was the atmosphere like on the set?
It was fun and relaxed. It’s an otherworldly experience because he put all the different characters – the human beings and creatures that look like they’re from someplace else, they look completely different - and put everybody all together. It was fascinating.

Was it weird walking around between takes and seeing the different creatures?
It is. After shooting I’m still shocked because you just couldn’t get enough of seeing other people there looking differently and with all the different costumes. All the different characters are fascinating, different colors, hair and make-up…

How much of the script were you allowed to see?
Basically I only got to see the scenes I’m in. They have so many [labels] on there that say “Confidential” so that they’ll know it’s from whom. When I got back – I took my scenes – and the production company called me to FedEx them back to them. I said, “Okay, I’ll let my agent do it.” They wouldn’t even let my agent read it. It had to come straight from me. I feel like I was really scared – I didn’t want anybody to know it was from me (laughing), so I wasn’t showing anybody.

And you’ve also got “The World of Tomorrow” coming up. What's your role in that movie?
I played a mysterious woman from the future. She’s very sexy and very hip, and very powerful. It’s an action movie. I kick Jude Law’s butt all the time in the movie.

Was that fun?
Oh yeah, that was really fun. I had to do all kinds of Kung Fu stuff in it. It was very graceful. I made her very sexy, very graceful, and mysterious – and very nice to watch.

What kind of training did you have to do to prepare?
I used ‘sticks’ and also fighting – a lot of Kung Fu stuff. I had to wear some of the pants very tight. In the beginning the pants were so tight I couldn’t even kick or lift my leg up so we had to redo it. It was fun. I had to wear glasses and I have this heavy hat. I couldn’t even hear or see properly. It was miserable, but it had to be very graceful and sometimes that was difficult. After I took off all of my makeup and hair, hat, and glasses, I felt really relieved.

What's it like to kick Jude Law’s butt?
He’s so charming. I was so afraid of really kicking him. He said, “Do it!” I said, “I’m afraid I’m going to hurt you.” He said, “Just go for it!” He’s really very charming and very handsome and sexy. I liked him a lot.

Did you have any accidents where you actually did kick him?
Yes, I did hurt his head one time when we were rehearsing. I felt bad but he’s like, “Cool.” He’s very cool. I hope one day I’ll do a romantic movie with him where we play lovers (laughing).
