Charlize Theron Monster

Charlize Theron stars in "Monster."

Newmarket Films
The 10th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards for outstanding performances in 2003 in five film and eight primetime television categories were held on February 22, 2004 and perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was Johnny Depp's win for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Not so surprising was Charlize Theron's win for Best Actress. Almost unrecognizable as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in "Monster," Theron gained 30 lbs and hid her beauty beneath layers of make-up and a set of false teeth.
