MTV Movie Award Winners

Hosting duo Seann William Scott of "Bulletproof Monk" and music superstar Justin Timberlake soared through a night filled with superhuman and virtual antics and mayhem at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. The 2003 MTV Movie Awards airs on MTV on Thursday, June 5th at 9PM (ET/PT).

Marking a first in Movie Awards history and proving just how dynamic a duo they really are, Scott and Timberlake were magically transformed into animated superheroes at the start of the evening, playing out a story line that was threaded throughout the show.

Highlights from the show included:
A film spoof of "The Matrix Reloaded" opened the night featuring the comedic talents of Will Ferrell, Andy Dick, Wanda Sykes and co-hosts Scott and Timberlake with a cameo appearance from the "key maker" played by Randall Kim. This futuristic spoof set the tone for an awards show filled with tons of virtual fun. The second film spoof of "Charlie Angels 2," titled "Ass Coordinator," featured Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, Vince Vaughn, and director McG.

Pink had the audience dancing in their seats as she, for the first time ever on television, performed her summer hit "Feel Good Time," a single from the "Charlie's Angels 2" soundtrack. With motorcycles and beach-goers on the stage, Pink had everyone celebrating the beginning of summer. Then on a stage that looked like a futuristic shooting gallery, 50 Cent energized the audience as he performed a medley of his hit songs, "In Da Club" and "Wangster." Finally, t.A.T.u. closed the show with a shocking performance medley of their songs "Not Gonna Get Us" and "All the Things She Said," on a stage filled with a 175 dancers and school girls, who then later stripped down to tank tops and briefs.

The most memorable moments came not from humans, but from virtual characters. Gollum from "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" upon winning "Best Virtual Performance" gave a hysterical and raving mad acceptance speech "thanking" everyone responsible for his winning. Making a grand entrance, Yoda flew onto the stage upon nabbing "Best Fight" and an unforgettable and hysterical acceptance speech he gave. Another moment featured Ashton Kutcher and P. Diddy pitching outrageous "ideas" to the producer of the awards show before they come onto stage to present "Best Villain."

Other than your hometown megaplexes, the 2003 MTV Movie Awards was the only place to find stars from all of this summer's blockbuster movies under one roof.
