While at the World Premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures' "The Big Bounce," "Survivor" host Jeff Probst provided a few details on the upcoming "All Stars" edition of the hit TV series:

What’s the most obvious difference in this "All-Stars" edition versus the normal series?
It’s friends in a game that’s designed to be played by strangers, which makes it really personal and sometimes really ugly.

There are some people on the "All-Stars" show from the first season that probably didn’t understand the marketability of being someone like Sue, as opposed to being the quiet type or the one who flies under the radar. Did you see a change in returning players in that they’ve become more savvy?
No. You can try to put on airs for five minutes, but go two days without water and you kind of forget that persona you are trying to cultivate and you go back to who you are. I mean Sue, no one else could have said that but Sue. Jenna Lewis can’t help but be annoying. Colby’s a pretty straight-ahead guy and Richard’s cocky. They always are.

So Jenna is annoying?
I say this to Jenna all the time. She drove me nuts during “Survivor: All Stars.” She’d never shut up. They all have their own distinct personalities. One thing is for sure: there will never be another “Survivor: All Stars.” I don’t think we’ll do another one. This was a beast. Bringing people back who already know the game is tough.

They've had years to study the game…
And years to be savvy about what they think they can now get away with. It was a big case of the tail trying to wag the dog.
