Significant Others: Garner met her first husband, actor Scott Foley, will working on "Felicity" (divorced March 3, 2003). Garner's second husband is Oscar-winner Ben Affleck who she met while filming "Daredevil."

Children: Garner and Affleck became the proud parents of Violet on December 1, 2005. The couple's second daughter, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, was born on January 6, 2009.

Jennifer Garner is the daughter of teacher Patricia Ann English and Billy Jack Garner, an engineer. Garner was attending Denison University when the urge to act overcame her. Changing her major to drama, Garner graduated and moved to New York to fulfill her dream of becoming an actress.

Although Jennifer Garner easily transitions between film and television, it was really her role on the small screen that brought her into the spotlight. Garner's portrayal of double agent Sydney Bristow on the hit TV series "Alias" (2001-2006) earned the actress four Emmy nominations as well as four Golden Globe nominations (she won in 2002), and helped her gain a large following of fans.
