Guide Review - "Signs" DVD Review

Mel Gibson stars as Graham Hess, a widowed father raising two young children with the help of his single brother, Merrill (Joaquin Phoenix). A former minister who's lost his faith, Graham's own personal struggle with God and the world is dramatically altered when mysterious crop circles appear in his corn field. The two Hess children (played by Rory Culkin and Abigail Breslin) are the first to accept the circles as a sign of an impending alien invasion but it's not long before the family - and the entire world - comes around to their point of view.
