Guide Review - "Phone Booth" Movie - DVD Review

Colin Farrell stars as Stu Shepard, a self-centered publicist who, after making daily phone calls (from one of NYC's free-standing phone booths) to a woman he'd like to have an affair with, gets caught in the cross-hairs of a psycho with a rifle and a track history of murder. Following the rules set forth by his unseen enemy, Stu must confess his sins while surrounded by cops, a crowd, and dozens of TV cameras.

"Phone Booth's" theatrical release was held back due to the real-life sniper events in Washington. Thankfully the studio eventually took a chance on releasing this film, trusting audiences would understand this is just for entertainment purposes and giving moviegoers credit for being able to separate fact from fiction.
