Guide Review - "Drumline" DVD Review

Nick Cannon stars as Devon Miles, a talented drummer from Harlem who wins a scholarship to join the marching band one of the nation's most prestigious colleges. Devon marches to his own beat, and immediately butts heads with the band leader (played by Orlando Jones) and Sean Taylor, the senior class student who's in charge of the drum section. It's not that he's a troublemaker, he's just got his own vision of what music should feel and sound like. When Sean discovers something about Devon that could jeopardize his college career, Devon must discover there's more than one way to handle adversity.

Cannon is joined in "Drumline" by an outstanding cast of young actors who'll make you believe the competition is real.
