The Bottom Line

DVD fans need deleted scenes, outtakes, gag reels - anything we didn't see in the theatre. This DVD doesn't have much in the way of bonus features so rent/buy it based solely on the film itself.

Guide Review - "40 Days and 40 Nights" DVD Review

Josh Hartnett stars as Matt Sullivan, a very sexually active single guy who is experiencing hallucinations while in the act of making love. Determined to become a better person, Matt makes a vow of no sex for 40 days and 40 nights (hence the film's title). As luck, fate, or whatever would have it, he immediately runs in to the girl (Shannyn Sossamon) who could possibly be 'the one.' Unable to tell her about his vow, Matt must find a way to woo her, without taking it too far. Described by critics as "highly erotic," this sexy romantic comedy tests the limits one man will go to to prove he can keep his word.
