The "Schindler's List" DVD features powerful bonus materials that further illuminate the film's powerful subject matter. A moving 77 minute documentary produced by the Shoah Foundation entitled Voices From the List offers never-before-seen testimonies from actual Schindler survivors, as they recount their real-life experiences with the man who saved their lives. The DVD also features The Shoah Foundation Story with Steven Spielberg, a behind-the-scenes look at works and accomplishments of the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. Its mission is to overcome prejudice, intolerance, and bigotry, and the suffering they cause, through the educational use of the Foundation's visual history testimonies.

Many actors and talented filmmakers contributed to the towering cinematic achievement of "Schindler's List." Calling his work on this film "the experience that changed my life" Spielberg earned Oscars(R) for Best Director and Producer. Liam Neeson ("Gangs of New York," "Love Actually") received a Best Actor Academy Award(R) nomination for his portrayal of Oskar Schindler, and Ralph Fiennes ("The English Patient") was nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for his gripping depiction of the cruel Nazi commander, Amon Goeth. Oscar(R)-winner Ben Kingsley ("Gandhi," "House of Sand and Fog") received a Best Supporting Actor nomination from BAFTA, the British Film Academy, for his memorable performance in the role of Schindler's Jewish accountant, Itzhak Stern. Composer John Williams ("E.T.," "Jurassic Park"), screenwriter Steven Zaillian ("Gangs of New York," "Mission: Impossible") and Director of Photogrophy Janusz Kaminiski received Academy Awards(R) for their work on "Schindler's List." Steven Spielberg founded Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation in 1994 to collect and preserve the testimonies of Holocaust survivors and witnesses. The Foundation is a nonprofit public charity, and it has collected nearly 52,000 testimonies from 56 countries and in 32 languages on videotape. The Shoah Foundation is an educational organization whose aim is to use to this unmatched collection of personal testimony to overcome prejudice, intolerance, and bigotry -- and the suffering they cause -- through the educational use of the Foundation's visual history testimonies.
