James Rocchi is a former writer for ThoughtCo who covered movies. James began working as a film critic in 2008. Since that time, his reviews, commentary, and interviews appear in entertainment media outlets such as MSN.com, Aol.com, TheWrap.com, IndieWire.com, MotherJones.com, and many others.

James appeared in the documentary film Rewind This! (Imperial PolyFarm Productions, 2013), where he played himself, a film critic.
