The Voice Cast of "Curious George"

Monday February 6, 2006
H.A and Margret Rey's classic story of an adventurous monkey comes to life on the big screen in "Curious George," the animated family film from Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment. Based on the series of books, "Curious George" the movie is an all-new story of how the inquisitive George met The Man with the Yellow Hat and wound up traveling with him to the big city.

Will Ferrell provides the voice of Ted, The Man with the Yellow Hat and Drew Barrymore plays Maggie, the woman who has a crush on Ted. Barrymore said she went for a sweet and lovely voice for Maggie because she views their romance as innocent and old-fashioned. Unlike a lot of other animated films, "Curious George" isn't a CGI creation and it doesn't contain adult humor meant to fly over the heads of kids. This is an old-school G rated movie and that's exactly what attracted the film's voice cast. (Pictured: Will Ferrell and Drew Barrymore © Richard Chavez)
