Some movies just seem like they've been around forever. "The Blues Brothers" is one of those films. Jake and Elwood (aka The Blues Brothers) sprang from the fertile imaginations of John Belushi and Dan Akyroyd [pictured], who created the characters out of their love for the blues. Now 25 years after the release of "The Blues Brothers" in theaters, Jake and Elwood are viewed as pop culture icons and the impact of "The Blues Brothers" on the world of blues music is undeniable.In support of the release of "The Blues Brothers" 25th Anniversary Edition DVD from Universal Studios Home Entertainment, I had a conversation with the director of "The Blues Brothers," John Landis, about the film, his cast, and a couple of projects he's got on the horizon:
