According to 20th Century Fox's publicity materials, Supercross is the second fastest growing motor sport in the United States (NASCAR's the first) so it's only logical the sport would become the subject of a feature film. "Supercross: The Movie" follows two brothers as they overcome obstacles - both physical and emotional - while on the road to success in the sport of Supercross racing. "Supercross" stars Mike Vogel and Steve Howey and is rated PG-13 for language and some sexuality.

Rachel McAdams plays Lisa Reisert, a no-nonsense business woman in the Wes Craven thriller, "Red Eye." Cillian Murphy co-stars as Jackson Rippner, a suitably creepy-named thug who holds her hostage aboard a red eye flight from Dallas to Miami. If Lisa doesn't do exactly what Jackson says, her father will be killed. If she does, then the chief of Homeland Security will be murdered... "Red Eye" stars Murphy, McAdams, and Brian Cox and is rated PG-13 for some intense sequences of violence, and language.

How does someone get to be 40 without ever having sex? Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Romany Malco, and Seth Rogen star in the R-rated comedy that asks - and answers - that particular question. The jokes are raunchy, the comedy is way out there, yet the film is actually pretty touching.

Ewan McGregor provides the voice of Valiant, a little carrier pigeon who dreams of joining Great Britain's Royal Air Force Homing Pigeon Service (RHPS) during World War II. Sleekly animated, "Valiant" tells the story of a group of misfit pigeons who embark on a dangerous mission in enemy territory to retrieve an important message. "Valiant" also features the voices of Tim Curry, Jim Broadbent, and Ricky Gervais and is rated G.

    Box Office Report – August 12-14, 2005
John Singleton's action drama "Four Brothers" captured the attention of moviegoers as the R-rated film did $21.1 million in business at the box office. Universal's "The Skeleton Key" with Kate Hudson and Peter Sarsgaard did about as expected, finishing in 2nd place and showing that Hudson can attract an audience outside of those who love her in romantic comedies.

Audiences however weren't enamored with the second "Deuce Bigalow" movie. The first film made $12 million during its opening weekend while the second outing of the 'he-whore' only managed a meager $9.6 million. Audiences also decided to pass on Miramax's "The Great Raid." Opening in just over 800 screens, the World War II pic barely made it into the Top 10.
