Part of the deal for the sequel to "Bridget Jones's Diary" ("Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason") included Renee Zellweger signing on to star opposite newlywed Russell Crowe in Ron Howard's "Cinderella Man." Zellweger will play the wife of Joe Braddock (Crowe) a boxer who gained fame for beating heavyweight champion Max Baer.
