Anne Fletcher has been confirmed to direct the action whodunit comedy Murder Mystery set up at TWC-Dimension and Endgame. Fletcher directed last year's box office flop The Guilt Trip with Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen, but had better luck with the Sandra Bullock/Ryan Reynolds romantic comedy The Proposal back in 2009.
James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spider-Man, Zodiac) wrote the script and is producing the film along with Charlize Theron, Beau Flynn, Tripp Vinson, and James D. Stern. There's no word yet on the cast.
The official synopsis: "In the film, a married couple takes the honeymoon they never had in hopes of saving their struggling marriage, but soon find themselves in the middle of their very own murder mystery when one of their fellow cruise passengers is found dead. They must travel across Europe to discover the true murderer's identity while trying to reignite the spark to their relationship."
