The cast of the comedy/drama Welcome to Me has just expanded by four, with Alan Tudyk, James Marsden, Wes Bentley, and Joan Cusack signing up for roles. Will Ferrell's Gary Sanchez Productions and Bron Studios confirmed the new cast members, with the fivesome joining Kristen Wiig in the project which just began filming.
Welcome to Me's official synopsis: "Welcome to Me tells the story of Alice (Wiig) who suffers from borderline personality disorder and wins the lottery only to decide to spend her money on a cable access talk show about herself. The show reflects her larger-than-life personality and absolute obsession with wanting to be famous, even if it means alienating her friends and family in the process."
Wiig is also on board as a producer along with Aaron L Gilbert, Marina Grasic, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Jessica Elbaum. Shira Piven (Fully Loaded) is directing from a script by Eliot Laurence.
