When Keri Russell decided to get busy with films and on TV, she wasn't monkeying around. She's apparently gone apes over the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, joining the latest Apes movie which - coincidentally - is being directed by Matt Reeves who also was the co-creator/writer/director of Felicity.
Russell, who can be seen on the small screen starring in The Americans and on the big screen in Dark Skies, joins a cast that includes Jason Clarke, Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
The sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes is coming to theaters over the Memorial Day weekend in 2014.
Russell's other credits include Waitress, August Rush, and Austenland.
