The Coen Brothers' latest film, Inside Llewyn Davis, has just been snatched up by CBS Films. The music-driven film was written and directed by film-making siblings Joel and Ethan Coen and stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund, F. Murray Abraham and Justin Timberlake.
According to CBS Films' official announcement of the acquisition, audiences can expect to be hearing songs performed by Timberlake (who recently returned to music and has a new album coming in March), Oscar Isaac, and Marcus Mumford throughout the film. T Bone Burnett, an Oscar-winner for his original song in Crazy Heart, was involved as producer of the soundtrack.
The synopsis: "Inside Llewyn Davis follows an aspiring singer-songwriter (Isaac) as he navigates the 1960s folk-music scene in New York City's Greenwich Village."
We can expect to see Inside Llewyn Davis making an awards run this December.
