Box Office Report: Warm Bodies Warms Up Audiences

Warm BodiesSuper Bowl weekend is typically a slow weekend at the box office and only one of this weekend's new releases drew in a decent-sized crowd. The zombie romantic comedy Warm Bodies livened up theaters with its unusual twist on the walking dead, however Sylvester Stallone's new film, Bullet to the Head, was basically DOA. Following the dismal opening numbers of Arnold Schwarzenegger's The Last Stand and now Stallone's new action film, you've got to wonder if it's time for the two to step back from lead roles and concentrate on ensembles (like The Expendables) instead. Also failing to catch on was the comedy Stand Up Guys which was aiming for an older adult audience but didn't even score a spot in the top 10.
