This is one we didn't see coming. Emily VanCamp, currently seen exacting revenge on the super-wealthy Grayson family in ABC's Revenge, will be starring alongside Chris Evans in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Joe and Anthony Russo are attached to direct.
Deadline broke the news, however there's no confirmation yet on which character she'll be playing. It could be Sharon Carter, but right now that's just the most popular rumor floating around.
In addition to Evans and VanCamp, the Captain America sequel is set to star Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson, Toby Jones, Sebastian Stan, and Samuel L Jackson.
Before signing up for Revenge, VanCamp starred in Everwood and Brothers and Sisters. Her big screen credits include The Ring 2 and Carriers.
