The trash-talking teddy bear movie, Ted, will be well represented at the 2013 Oscars. No, Ted the bear isn't up for a Best Actor Oscar, however the film's creator (and the voice of Ted), Seth MacFarlane, is hosting the 85th Academy Awards. And the show's producers have just announced Norah Jones will be performing the Oscar-nominated song "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" from the comedy movie.
Jones will be making her Oscar show debut with her upcoming performance. Commenting on the news, Jones stated, "I had such a great time recording this song with Seth, and was thrilled to find out that it was nominated for an Oscar. Getting to perform it at such a prestigious event, which my friend is hosting, is a once in a lifetime opportunity."
Producers also recently announced Adele will perform "Skyfall" from Skyfall for the first time live at this year's Oscars.
The 2013 Academy Awards will take place on February 24th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
