...And that's perfectly fine, Mr Johnson. If you want to co-star in a movie with a teddy bear, that's your prerogative.
The Hollywood Reporter says Dwayne Johnson will be getting back together with Beau Flynn (producer of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) for a family comedy featuring a teddy bear. Johnson will produce and most likely star in the untitled film set up with New Line Cinema.
Alex Panagopoulos pitched the idea using a drawing he did of a teddy bear guarding a sleeping child from a monster. The caption: "Teddy Bears: Protecting innocent children from monsters under the bed since 1902."
It's all very much in the preliminary stages right now and other than the basic idea of teddy bears keeping monsters at bay, there's not much known about the plot. And there isn't a screenwriter or director attached at this point.
Johnson will next be seen in the dramatic film Snitch, based on a true story. Following that film's release in February, Johnson has G.I. Joe Retaliation, Pain and Gain, and Fast and Furious 6 coming out this year.
