In an interview with Anderson Cooper, Mark Wahlberg confirmed there will definitely be a sequel to Ted. Says Wahlberg, "There is a Ted 2. We've already locked a deal. They're off writing now."
Wahlberg's never been a part of a sequel before, however he signed up Ted 2 because he has confidence in writer/director/voice of Ted Seth MacFarlane. And Wahlberg revealed during the interview that he and his trash-talking stuffed teddy bear will put in an appearance on the 2013 Oscars, hosted by MacFarlane.
In non-Ted related projects, Wahlberg has Broken City arriving in theaters on January 18, Pain and Gain alongside Dwayne Johnson coming out on April 26, and 2 Guns with Denzel Washington releasing on August 16th. He also recently signed up to star in the new still-untitled fourth film of the Transformers series.
