Bradley CooperHot off his critically acclaimed, Oscar-nominated turn in Silver Linings Playbook, Bradley Cooper could be starring in Dark Invasion for Warner Bros Pictures. WB, the home of Cooper's The Hangover films, is bringing Howard Blum's book (set for release this September) to the screen and wants Cooper in the lead. According to Deadline, he's also involved as producer.

And in other news, Deadline's reporting MGM wants to redo Ben Hur. Yes, Ben Hur. Let that sink in for a minute, okay?

Deadline says Lew Wallace's novel Ben Hur: A Tale of the Christ will be brought back to the big screen in a faithful adaptation of the 1880 book. Keith Clarke (The Way Back) did the spec script and the powers that be at MGM are apparently happy with how well Clarke stuck to Wallace's bestselling novel.
