Top 10 Movies of 2012

Well, it took me longer than I anticipated but I've finally pulled together my list of the 10 best movies of 2012. Just to be clear, these aren't the biggest box office successes nor are they necessarily films that appear on most top 10 lists. I have some, if I do say so myself, interesting choices among my top 10 picks including one I'm almost certain shows up on no more than a handful of other best of lists this year.

And in addition to the top 10, the list includes a few others that deserved to be mentioned:
