Everyone jokes about Peter Jackson not wanting to end his Lord of the Rings trilogy so he just kept coming up with ending after ending for Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. And now it seem Jackson's equally unwilling to let The Hobbit play out naturally and instead has stretched the source material to three feature films, the first of which is nearly three hours long. And we're not talking three hours of thrilling adventure either. No, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is more likely to put you to sleep than to have you grasping your armrests in amazement.
