Hugh Jackman Could Join X-Men: Days of Future Past

The Hollywood Reporter says Hugh Jackman ('Wolverine') may be a part of the X-Men: Days of Future Past plot. THR reports Jackman's "in negotiations" to join the new X-Men movie to be directed by Bryan Singer. If the deal goes through, he would be joining a cast which includes Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult. Hoult, by the way, recently starred in Singer's delayed-until-2013 action adventure, Jack the Giant Slayer.

Jackman will next be seen singing his heart out in Les Miserables and recently finished up work on The Wolverine for director James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma).

Fox is aiming for a July 18, 2014 release of X-Men: Days of Future Past.
