Patrick Dempsey's returning to the world of romantic comedies with Wonderful Tonight for director Christine Jeffs (Sunshine Cleaning). Amanda Seyfried, soon to be seen in one of the most anticipated films of the year - Les Miserables, is also on board the romcom which is set up at Myriad Pictures.
J. Mills Goodloe wrote the screenplay and Castle Rock Entertainment's Martin Shafer and Liz Glotzer will produce with Donna Roth and Susan Arnold.
The official synopsis: "Wonderful Tonight tells the story of an unlikely love affair that arises when a one night stand between a wealthy lifelong bachelor and a free-spirited young woman results in a child. Used to having women chase him because of his money and good looks, he is in for a surprise when two years later; she rejects him because of his selfish and arrogant past. Now he must prove himself as a father and try to win her heart."
