Another name has been added to the list of honorees for this year's Hollywood Film Awards. The roster has just expanded to include Richard Gere who has been tapped to receive the Hollywood Career Achievement Award during the October 22, 2012 awards gala in Beverly Hills.
The Hollywood Film Awards are part of the Hollywood Film Festival and mark the start of the awards season. Gere is being recognized for his body of work, including the 2012 release of Arbitrage with Susan Sarandon and Brit Marling.
Additional 2012 Hollywood Film Awards recipients include Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Quentin Tarantino, Judd Apatow, David O Russell, Robert De Niro, Marion Cotillard, and the cast of Argo.
Golden Globe winner Gere (Chicago) recently wrapped up work on the animated movie Henry & Me. He'll next be seen in the ensemble comedy, Movie 43.
